Not seeking recognition is a liberating posture. This is something that I’ve learned after much struggling with my Ego. My Ego wants recognition, validation, accolades. Will grind blood, sweat and tears, do what it needs to seek that affirmation, is never satisfied and never quelled and only ever led to disappointment, disharmony and dissatisfaction for me.
