Money is not a representation of a person’s status, character or moral value. People judge millionaires, billionaires for not sharing their wealth as if somehow enlightenment, awareness and revelation fall upon them when they hit millionaire status. They are just people, no different morally than everyday, non-billionaire people. Maybe they understood how money works a little better, had a talent, knowledge or system they could leverage, or knew better what buttons to push and levers to pull to get to the “top”.
But why would “we” expect them to all of a sudden change their mindset about money, when they got to where they were trying to acquire and accumulate it. As if having so much money and sharing it is a moral obligation or maybe they should feel so guilty about having so much money they should feel compelled to “help” the less fortunate.
Money is the ambition and the reward. That is the habit/mindset loop that got them to where they are. But another driving factor is seeing their money work efficiently and returning on itself. It takes a different person to be able to reinvent themselves once they get to the “top”.
